WHo we are:

Big Object is a Brooklyn-based production company founded by David Bell and Joe Scarpulla in 2014. We are a partnership built on over a decade of collaboration on projects large and small, including films, music videos, documentaries, and commercials. We have a passion for bringing products and stories to life using stop-motion animation, miniatures, and beautiful tabletop photography.

Our frequent collaborators includes highly talented animators, sculptors, graphic designers, food stylists, prop-makers, camera crews, and production staff, and we tailor our crew to the specific needs of each unique production .

We have the resources to direct and produce your project in-house from start to finish, from pre-vis storyboards and animatics, through filming and post. We can also collaborate with you to facilitate specific aspects of your work. We’d love to work with you in either capacity!
